Tropical Tasmania

“It’s the fish I feel sorry for, in all this global warming. They don’t even have a carbon footprint.”

J.L. Merrow

A lovely tropical paradise type of day on Bruny Island to celebrate 26 years of marriage on the 26th.  The bay we chose was warm, clean, bright and very very uncrowded.  Not bad for a pittance for the return ferry ride, pack your own picnic or indeed enjoy the local fare.

Here is one fair maiden making her way along the beach...

There were some great sights along the way.  All up what a great way to mark a special occasion - thanks Bruny Island <again>.

Funny little fellas scurrying everywhere!

Along the road to Dennes Point

At a local cafe for lunch

Kym in a reflective mood
Some old salty dog found on the beach

A panoramic sweep of the day
