Summer ebbs

"Learn from yesterday, live for today, look to tomorrow, rest this afternoon."
Charles M. Schulz

As the nights cool we are really happy to have our Anigozanthos back up in bloom after a hiccup this time last year (pour us a beer someday and we'll cry into it for you).

The picture does not do this scene any justice
With autumn looming, expect a few lovely pics soon of this amazing part of the world.

A small corner of awesome

"Many people lose the small joys in the hope for the big happiness."
Pearl S. Buck

Whilst some on the spectrum travel overseas to see paradise, we drove a couple of hours to Spring Beach this week. Of course, being paradise, it was packed to the gills with people (see pic below).

Cataract Gorge

"Treat every natural beauty you meet as if you see them for the first and last time!"
Mehmet Murat ildan

Thanks to Reliable Ruby looking after our zoo so competently we shimmied up to Launceston on the weekend and celebrated 29 years marriage and quite a few more years for Anthony's birthday. It was a great trip, we caught up with some mates and had a relaxed time checking out the surrounds. Thanks Launceston, we'll be back!
